A jam packed week is coming up in Brooklyn with the Transit Museum bus festival, Lavender festival, a Greek festival, must-see photo exhibit, Chuck E. Cheese summer concert, free kayaking and much more.

Join the New York Transit Museum for their Bus Festival at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza. See and step aboard buses from the vintage fleet, representing more than 80 years of New York City surface transit history. Enjoy special activities and photo ops, meet some of the bus drivers who help keep our city moving, and take in the view of the Manhattan skyline from Brooklyn Bridge Park. Saturday, June 10 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Chuck E. Cheese and his friends Helen Henny, Jasper T. Jowls, Mr. Munch and Bella B. in her first ever live appearance will be performing live as part of a free concert and celebration at the plaza of Atlantic Terminal Mall Plaza on Saturday, June 10 from 2.30 to 4 pm. The free concert will feature new summer time music that will be loved by kids and families. The concert will include new dances, songs and even the Happy Birthday song to celebrate any little ones with upcoming birthdays. After the concert, families can take pictures with all the characters and then head over to Chuck E. Cheese to check out the brand new trampoline zone, and get a new Summer Fun Pass which starts at $59.99 and offers 8 weeks of All You Can Play game play! The event is free and open to all (best suited for ages 3 to 8 years old), rain or shine (if it rains the event will be moved inside to Chuck E. Cheese). RSVP here.

Earth Mat­ter NY's annu­al NYC Laven­der Fes­ti­val offers two days of tours, demon­stra­tions, mak­er work­shops, har­vest­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties and fun fam­i­ly activ­i­ties at the Laven­der Field on Gov­er­nors Island. Vis­it June 10 – 11 to dive into the heady fra­grance of laven­der, see the field in bloom, pick your own bou­quet, attend a dis­til­la­tion demo, and take advan­tage of spec­tac­u­lar pho­to opportunities. Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm at the South Battery landing field.

The Greek Orthodox Cathedral is hosting its annual Greek street fair from Monday, June 5 to Sunday, June 11 on car-free Schermerhorn Street. There will be traditional food, dancing, live music, kids activities and much more daily starting at 11 am. Special highlight Brooklyn Bouzouki Night on Thursday with live music and dancing.

Photoville exhibit in Brooklyn Bridge Park with their classic shipping containers runs from June 3 to June 18 daily from 12 to 8 pm (closed Mondays). In total, there will be over 50 exhibitions all over Brooklyn Bridge Park, 18 of them in shipping containers and the rest of them open air installations.

Recommended for ages 7-17, join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy for 2 hour basketball clinics led by KING Hoops. Learn basketball basics as head coaches lead participants through drills and games. Clinics run on Tuesdays from May 30 through July 25 at Pier 2. Clinics for ages 7 to 12 will be from 4 to 5 pm, while clinics for ages 13 to 17 will be from 5 to 6 pm. Advanced registration and waivers are required, although walk-up registrations can be accommodated as space allows. Registration will open at this link every Tuesday at 10 am for class the following week.

Free family-friendly kayaking is offered throughout the summer on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons through September in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Find out more here.

Grab your favorite opponent to play two fun racquet sports – pickleball and badminton at Brooklyn Commons in Downtown. All participants will be required to sign waivers for themselves and any minors. Equipment provided. 11 am to 5 pm daily until June 11. Find out more here.

On Thursday, June 8th Adams Street Library will kick off LGBTQ+ Pride Month with music and art in the multipurpose room. Learn how to use the library's button maker to design and press your own 1.5 inch pin-back buttons to show your pride! All supplies will be provided. Thursday, June 8th, 3-4pm Teens and Tweens.

Join the Brooklyn Museum for their tenth annual LGBTQ+ Teen Night, featuring a range of art-making, performances, and other activities celebrating queer art and activism! Brooklyn Museum, Friday, June 9th, 5-7:30pm for ages 14+. Registration is encouraged.

Come on down to Park Slope's 5th Avenue to enjoy a cross-section of the borough's business, community, and city-wide organizations. In addition to the vendors, there will be a fabulous entertainment stage at 4th Street displaying local, national, and international talent! Furthermore, at Old Stone House / J.J.
