Project leaders are hopeful a planned children's garden activity center adjacent to Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens will help get area kids into nature.

Dubbed The Wanderwood Gardens, the center will include a variety of outdoor play spaces and interactive exhibits. Construction on the project will start this summer with an estimated completion date of 2025.
