2/16/2016, Springfield, Ma. - Bounce! Trampoline Sports in the Springfield Plaza offers kids and adults of all ages a chance to bounce on trampolines, play dodgeball, try slam-dunking a ball, jump into foam pits and even try a Ninja Warrior course. It's a very popular place during school vacation weeks. Here's a view from the foam pit. (Don Treeger / The Republican) Staff-ShotStaff-Shot
A 35,000-square-foot entertainment and activity park filled with trampolines has closed in Springfield.
Bounce! Trampoline Sports in Springfield opened in 2016 and included 16,000 square feet of trampolines. But it has officially closed its doors.
The company's website no longer works and the voicemail lets people know it has permanently closed. Customers, however, can still leave a voicemail if needed.
Most recently, the Facebook page offered Memorial Day specials.
It had closed in March 2020 due to COVID restrictions and remained closed for about a year, Rob Doty, managing partner at Bounce!, said. But it reopened and hosted a COVID vaccination clinic with a free hour at the indoor trampoline park.
The indoor bounce house included play areas and foam pits set aside for children under the age of five, huge swaths of trampolines for adults and older kids, trampolines set up with basketball courts, three trampoline dodge ball courts, another foam pit for older kids and two "extreme" rooms set up with trampoline agility and obstacle courses reminiscent of the "American Ninja Warrior" television program.
The company did not state why they closed.
